Free Fall Bump Test Machine

FEATURES:

  • Variable Acceleration 'g' and pulse duration 'ms'
  • Adjustable drop height (Motorized)
  • Rigid Mechanical structure
  • Highly accurate repeatability
  • Bump Tests in accordance with various National and International standards
  • PC based control, monitoring and waveform analysis
  • Various safety interlocks for safe operation

The motion of the basic Bump Test Machine is purely vertical. The table is guided to move in a vertical direction with four Pairs of linear bearings. The table is lifted by a shaped cam and is then allowed to free fall and impact a Rubber pad or rigid surface. The programmer can be selected to meet the time Duration requirements of the specification, typically Either 3 to 18 ms.

A desired "g" level is provided by adjusting the drop height of the table. The drop height is adjusted by changing the distance relationship between the underside of the table and the top of the bump programmer. The programmers are situated on top of a structure supported by threaded rod. By adjusting the threaded Rod, we may change the table's distance relationship to the bump Programmers.

The supplementary apart the table is situated from the Programmers, Free Fall Type Bump Test Machine has a robust steel structure, this machine can be used for testing the specimen having weight from 50 Kg to 750 Kg, with Acceleration from 6 "g" to 60 "g" & pulse duration from 3 ms to 18 ms. The machine is made to reproduce the effects of repetitive bumps 60 to 180 bumps per minute likely to be experienced by components and equipment during transportation or when installed in various classes of vehicles. The machine is mounted on air bellows and heavy duty shockers are also used to isolate it from the ground.

Environment Equipmentsmake Computerized bump test machine is a versatile test equipment to carry out bump tests in accordance with various IS, MIL-810F, DIN, EN, ISO, IEC, DEF & ASTM standards. The machine is used in product qualification testing, transient analysis of structures or models, and fatigue tests on Some systems and parts with an object to determine their suitability under repetitive BUMP environment (during transportation or in-service etc) and to judge structural reliability.
