Horizontal Slip Table

A Shaker, during a horizontal orientation, doesn't offer any area to mount objects because the Armature’s head is perpendicular to Earth. Therefore, so as to realize vibrations within the X and Y axis, a Horizontal Slip Table (HST) is employed which offers a bed parallel to Earth. This bed connects to the Armature with a coupling when the shaker is during a horizontal orientation. The HST bed and its coupling to the Armature are manufactured by welding magnesium alloy tool plates. Coupling is meant to work in tension and compression mode to yield the very best transmissibility. Low or high-pressure hydrostatic bearings are placed at different locations supported the planning of HST to constrain its motion within the same axis because of the Shaker. A granite block is placed beneath the HST bed and a uniform oil film is generated on this block and within the bearing to get rid of friction and supply dynamic support. because the motion of this bed is constrained to at least one direction, the thing is rotated by 90° on the table to modify between the X and Y-axis. A system integrated with HST is capable of testing objects altogether three axes, one at a time.

 Combo Base

As most of the testing is completed on all three axes, changing orientation from vertical to horizontal and the other way around happens very frequently. Therefore, both Shaker and HST are bolted on one platform with very tight tolerances to make sure proper alignment whenever you switch the shaker.

 Shaker to HST Coupling

Our bullnose design based adaptors for attaching the shaker’s armature to the HST’s bed are manufactured by welding high-quality magnesium alloy tool-plates. Interface with the armature uses every insert of the armature and interface with the bed uses bolts placed at a small angle from the axis of vibration to supply maximum transmissibility and ease operational. the ultimate outcome is that the middle of the armature, center of the adaptor, and therefore the center of the bed fall on an equivalent axis.

 Shaker to HST Coupling

An optimized gear based pivoting system to show the shaker from its vertical position to a horizontal position using mechanical or electrical means. Locking bolts are provided on either side to lock the trunnion assembly at the purpose where the shaker is precisely aligned vertically and horizontally. A mercury switch is employed to detect the orientation of the shaker by the facility Amplifier to enable or disable relevant interlocks automatically.
